The acquisition of PC builder Andromeda Insights is part of B3’s plan to introduce the first elite gaming PC for the crypto community.
Open gaming ecosystem B3, which was set up by Coinbase alumni, announced a strategic investment in personal computer (PC) manufacturer Andromeda Insights.
The acquisition aims to position B3 at the intersection of Web3 gaming and premium hardware as it introduces the first elite gaming PC for the crypto community, which will be launching later this year.
This marks B3’s first step into hardware, expanding beyond the chain and into the full gaming stack. By owning the machines that power play, B3 advances toward a fully integrated ecosystem spanning protocols, apps, and hardware for the gaming experience.
The acquisition accelerates B3’s goal to onboard users to on-chain gaming, while providing Andromeda Insights with resources to scale and meet overwhelming demand after experiencing a 17x increase in year-over-year growth since launching in 2021.
The PC manufacturer will continue operations under its current CEO, Matt Huffman, who will lead Andromeda Insights and its growth under the B3 umbrella. This will also support their continued mission to provide white-glove service to users throughout the PC’s lifetime.

B3 and Andromeda Insights will launch the first PC purpose-built for crypto gaming. The product will include a built-in hard wallet, instant internet disconnect capabilities, and a dual storage system with a dedicated self-destruct drive for crypto and other sensitive data that can be physically wiped at a moment’s notice.
