B3 and XRPL Commons debut the first AppChain gaming experience, enabling users to play games, earn, and bring real-world utility to XRP.

Consumer AppChain network B3 and the XRP Ledger (XRPL) Commons have announced the launch of XRPL Gamechain, the first gaming ecosystem built on the XRPL Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible sidechain.

The initiative combines the XRP Ledger’s scalability, low fees, and non-fungible token (NFT) and decentralised exchange (DEX) capabilities with B3’s developer network to expand the XRP community and provide new utility for XRP token holders.

Xcade, the platform’s user-facing hub, has gone live on testnet with five mobile-friendly titles designed for seamless onboarding. For XRP holders, it introduces direct ways to use, earn, and interact with the token, while new users benefit from simplified access into the ecosystem.

Daryl Xu, CEO of NPC Labs, said: “With Basement, we proved that if you make crypto fun, easy, and rewarding, people will play. Building on this foundation, we are launching Xcade to jumpstart a thriving consumer ecosystem built around XRP. By launching the experience as a B3 AppChain, we’re creating the foundation where anyone can build, play, and earn, unlocking real utility for XRP at global scale.”

B3’s existing gaming ecosystem, including its Basement platform, has onboarded more than 8.5 million wallets and supported hundreds of millions of transactions across over 100 games.

Odelia Torteman, Director of Corporate Adoption at XRPL Commons, said: “As blockchain gaming becomes a core pillar of Web3, the XRPL Gamechain represents the next wave of consumer crypto adoption: scalable, mobile-first, and powered by real users. More than just launching a new tech project, we’re inviting users to rewrite the rules of gaming culture.”
