Franklin Templeton brings its Benji tokenisation platform to BNB Chain, widening access to secure, compliant on-chain investment products.
Global investment manager Franklin Templeton has expanded its Benji Technology Platform to BNB Chain. The integration enables Franklin Templeton to leverage BNB Chain’s scalable, low-cost infrastructure to deliver tokenised investment products to clients worldwide.
Benji Technology Platform is Franklin Templeton’s proprietary blockchain-integrated stack for trading, management, and administration of token-based investments.
In 2021, the firm launched the first US-registered mutual fund to process transactions and record share ownership using blockchain technology. Since then, it has introduced a range of fully on-chain tokenised products serving retail, wealth, institutional, banking, and collateral use cases.
Deploying on BNB Chain connects Franklin Templeton to a growing ecosystem of market participants while demonstrating the network’s ability to support real-world, on-chain financial products at scale.
