Grove aims to connect crypto capital to institutional-grade assets, launching the first CLO strategy with Janus Henderson and Centrifuge.
Institutional credit infrastructure protocol Grove launched with a $1 billion investment from the Sky Ecosystem. This investment is being deployed into a tokenised credit strategy created in partnership with Janus Henderson and Centrifuge.
The new fund, called the Janus Henderson Anemoy AAA CLO Strategy (JAAA), aims to give crypto investors access to high-quality credit assets that offer both stability and strong returns. The move builds on the success of Janus Henderson’s earlier tokenised Treasury fund, which became one of the top five by assets under management in the space.
Grove provides the infrastructure that allows idle crypto capital to be invested into regulated, yield-bearing assets like these CLOs, helping protocols and DAOs earn reliable returns. The protocol acts as a secure, non-custodial link between crypto and traditional finance.
This launch comes as DeFi investors increasingly seek alternatives to tokenised Treasury bills, with demand for tokenised real-world assets (RWAs) surging in recent years. Grove’s infrastructure makes it easier for crypto projects to diversify their portfolios and gain exposure to assets that were previously hard to access on-chain.
