Both Hemi and Dominari Securities are collaborating to bridge traditional finance and the BTC economy amidst rising institutional adoption.
The Hemispheres Foundation, the organisation driving the adoption of Bitcoin Layer-1 network Hemi, announced a strategic investment from American Ventures and a partnership with Dominari Securities, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and investment bank under Dominari Holdings, Inc..
Together, Hemi and Dominari will develop regulated digital asset treasury and exchange-traded fund (ETF) platforms to advance institutional access to Bitcoin-based markets. The collaboration aims to establish a compliant, treasury-grade infrastructure for enterprises, financial institutions, and sovereign entities seeking exposure to Bitcoin yield strategies and programmable finance.
By merging Hemi’s blockchain technology with Dominari’s experience in capital markets, the partnership seeks to create an institutional bridge between traditional finance and the emerging digital asset economy.
“Bitcoin and Ethereum are no longer silos; they are increasingly interconnected components of a broader financial network,” said Jeff Garzik, Co-Founder of Hemi and former Bitcoin Core developer. “This partnership with Dominari enables Hemi to take the next step in making digital assets not just programmable, but institutionally deployable.”
Dominari has rapidly gained prominence as a dealmaker within the digital asset and technology sectors, working with companies such as American Bitcoin Corp., Tron Inc., Dogehash Technologies Inc., and New America Acquisition I Corp. Through Dominari, American Ventures co-led Hemi’s recent US$15 million funding round, which also included YZi Labs, Breyer Capital, Republic Crypto, and HyperChain Capital. The new capital will accelerate Hemi’s efforts to expand institutional adoption of programmable Bitcoin-based yield products.
“Partnering with Hemi represents a compelling opportunity to bridge traditional finance with the emerging Bitcoin economy,” said Kyle Wool, President of Dominari Holdings and CEO of Dominari Securities. “We believe Hemi is uniquely positioned to deliver the infrastructure and access that institutional investors demand.”
The partnership between Hemi and Dominari reflects a growing shift in the US financial landscape, where regulated digital asset products and on-chain financial instruments are becoming essential components of institutional investment strategy.
