Hitachi Vantara pairs VSP One with Supermicro AI compute to boost performance, scale, and reliability for GenAI use cases.
Data storage infrastructure Hitachi Vantara announced a collaboration with Supermicro to combine the VSP One unified storage with Supermicro’s GPU-optimised servers to support enterprise AI, GenAI, and data-intensive applications.
The parties are finalising terms that would allow Supermicro to sell VSP One, and Hitachi Vantara to sell Supermicro servers, GPUs, and systems through established channels.

Channel partners will also benefit from the expanded offering, with Supermicro partners gaining access to enterprise-grade block storage and Hitachi Vantara partners receiving timely GPU and server delivery for AI and data-driven workloads.
