Learn how to connect your Metamask wallet to other blockchain networks with this nifty step-by-step guide.
Metamask is a popular DeFi wallet that connects to the Ethereum network and allows you to seamlessly tap into the plethora of Ethereum decentralised apps (dApps) available.
But did you know that Metamask can also tap into other blockchain networks such as Fantom, Avalanche, and Binance Smart Chain? Networks that are compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, or EVM, can be connected to Metamask. Sadly, this means that blockchains such as Solana and non-EVM compatible networks cannot be linked to Metamask due to their incompatibility.
What is the Ethereum Virtual Machine? Basically it is a software platform that allows anyone to create decentralised applications on Ethereum. With that said, here’s our one-stop compilation of blockchain details to link your Metamask to the network.
To start off, log into your Metamask wallet via yourbrowseror mobile app onAndroidoriOS. If you have not created your Metamask wallet, watch out for our Metamask account guide coming up soon.
