But did you know that Metamask can also tap into other blockchain networks such as Fantom, Avalanche, and Binance Smart Chain? Networks that are compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, or EVM, can be connected to Metamask. Sadly, this means that blockchains such as Solana and non-EVM compatible networks cannot be linked to Metamask due to their incompatibility.

How to configure your wallet
- Once that’s done, click the Account button on the top right. That would be the circle with a colourful profile. Go to the bottom and click ‘Settings’.
- Next, select ‘Networks’
- . Then click ‘Add Network’.
- There will be 5 different fields to fill in.
- Network Name
- New RPC URL
- Chain ID
- Currency Symbol
- Block Explorer URL
