Mitsui launches Zipangcoin on OP Mainnet, offering regulated crypto exposure to gold, silver, and platinum for investors.

Global company Mitsui & Co. has launched Zipangcoin (ZPG), a cryptocurrency backed by precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum, on the OP Mainnet. The token will give investors exposure to physical commodities through a regulated digital instrument.

The company chose to launch on the selected network for its security, fee structure, and compatibility with institutional regulations and operations. The token will be listed on GMO Coin on 20 April 20.
