The new NBA Top Shot season debuts digital autographs, rookie collaborations, and blockchain-secured highlights for fan engagement.

The National Basketball Association (NBA), National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), and Dapper Labs unveiled the 2025–26 NBA Top Shot season.

The new season features headline partnerships with top rookies Cooper Flagg, Yang Hansen, and other emerging stars, each debuting digital autograph inscriptions and 1-of-1 signature collectibles on NBA Top Shot. Fans can look forward to revamped digital packs featuring enhanced textures, foils, and interactive designs, creating a richer and more immersive collecting experience.

This season’s focus on rookies reflects strong collector demand, with fewer than 5,000 rookie collectibles from players such as Victor Wembanyama and Cooper Flagg ever to exist on the platform.

“NBA Top Shot was built to bring fans closer to the sport they love, ensuring that each digital collectible remains an authentic and lasting piece of basketball culture long term,” said Roham Gharegozlou, CEO of Dapper Labs.

“This season we’re taking the next step—delivering autographs and interactive collectibles from the NBA’s next generation of stars while securing the highlights themselves on chain.”

By combining blockchain technology with the global reach of the NBA, Top Shot continues to set new standards for sports collectibles, where every dunk, assist, and buzzer-beater is independently retrievable and verifiable on the blockchain.

The NBA, NBPA, and Dapper Labs reaffirmed their commitment to preserving the permanence and authenticity of digital collectibles, giving fans a secure way to celebrate both historic and future NBA moments.
