Layer-1 blockchain Quai Network is seeing a surge in ecosystem activity as developers launch games, NFTs, and new social tools directly on its mainnet.
Alan Orwick, Co-Founder of Quai Network, said: “From games like Quai Battles and Tamahachi to tools like Kipper and Poop.fun, we are seeing builders push the boundaries of what is possible when real-time on-chain interaction is fast and accessible. This wave of creativity shows that Quai is more than a blockchain. It is a canvas for community-driven innovation.”
The ecosystem saw growth in the gaming category, where developers launched on-chain experiences like multiplayer battle royale QuaiBattle, which launched on Quai with support from the Quai Grants programme.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) also picked up speed with novel mechanics and community-driven designs like Tamahachi, which introduced a survival mechanic to NFT ownership, requiring users to feed their NFT with QUAI to keep it alive.
Quai’s ecosystem of tools is also expanding to support user rewards and new token models. Launched in beta on April 28, Kipper is an embedded X extension allowing users to link their wallet in one click and receive on-chain rewards
