The partnership with FailSafe combines quantum-secure infrastructure with active threat detection to protect against cyber risks.
Quantum-secure Layer-1 blockchain Quranium has partnered with FailSafe, a runtime security platform used by stablecoins, DeFi protocols, and Layer-1 ecosystems.
The collaboration integrates real-time defence capabilities with long-term quantum resilience to address both current cyber threats and the risks posed by future quantum computing advances.
As quantum computing accelerates towards ‘Q-Day’ when algorithms like RSA and ECC could be broken, Quranium’s infrastructure is designed to remain secure. FailSafe complements this with real-time threat detection, automated incident response, and quantum-safe fallback mechanisms.
Kapil Dhiman, CEO of Quranium, said: “FailSafe already has a proven track record of securing high-value assets, and our partnership will ensure real-time threat detection, protocol monitoring, and regulatory-grade defence, so builders on Quranium can move fast without compromising security.”
FailSafe’s CEO, Aneirin Flynn, added: “Quranium is laying the groundwork for a secure, quantum-ready internet. Our job is to protect what gets built on top of it. Together, we’re creating a full-spectrum security stack that combines long-term resilience with real-time defence, something the Web3 space desperately needs.”
The partnership also aims to raise awareness of quantum-secure technologies and promote best practices for smart contract development and auditing, addressing risks such as exposed public keys and vulnerable contracts.
