deQuip is said to be a new movement reshaping how the world approaches and secures digital trust with quantum computing.

Quantum-based Layer-1 blockchain foundation Quranium has coined a new acronym, deQuip, or Decentralised Quantum-Uncrackable Infrastructure Protocol, as a new market category tailored to decentralised quantum security.

“As the world embraces decentralisation, the need for uncrackable security grows more urgent. Traditional blockchain and DLT sectors have paved the way for decentralised solutions, but they do not offer the foundational security that protects against the threats posed by the powerful computational capabilities of new-age technologies, including quantum computers. In a digital landscape where data, identity, and assets are increasingly decentralised, resilience against today’s threats — and tomorrow’s quantum risks — is essential. Yet, existing categories such as ‘blockchain’ and ‘DLT’ fall short of recognising and defining players by their capacity to withstand these threats.”, said Kapil Dhiman, CEO of Quranium.

“DeQuip as a trailblazing standard introduced by Quranium, embodies a revolutionary approach to digital security that is designed to empower and protect against the quantum threat across multiple sectors,” Kapil Dhiman added. “This isn’t just a label; it’s a movement to redefine what security means in the decentralised age, establishing a standard that keeps pace with the relentless march of innovation.”

DeQuip aims to transform the landscape of digital infrastructure, finance, and healthcare by integrating quantum-resistant technology into blockchain platforms, ensuring that all digital transactions and interactions within these sectors are secure and sustainable. This extends to critical applications in Internet of Things (IoT) and smart cities, where maintaining data integrity and system resilience is key.
