New onchain storefronts let brands and creators own their marketplace presence and engage communities directly.

NFT platform Rarible has announced the launch of onchain storefronts, which are modular, branded spaces where creators and companies can own their marketplace presence, tell their story, and engage directly with their communities.

The first storefront will launch in partnership with VeeFriends, the character-based brand created by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, offering a seamless way for fans to collect and trade VeeFriends digital collectibles.

The launch of onchain storefronts comes as global e-commerce sales are projected to reach US$7.06 trillion by 2026. Each storefront functions as a community hub, equipped with customisable features that allow companies to showcase videos, updates, and narratives.

The first collaboration with VeeFriends brings together over 250 characters from the franchise, spanning digital collectibles, comics, and real-world experiences. Users can log in using the recently launched VeeFriends Wallet, powered by Privy, to easily buy collectibles with a credit card through Rarible.

“Our partnership with Rarible is all about accessibility and community,” said Andy Krainak, President of VeeFriends. “It’s never been easier for fans to collect VeeFriends NFTs. The onchain storefront removes friction and makes the entire experience more enjoyable.”

Through integrations with Privy and Crossmint, Rarible simplifies onboarding for new users. Fans can sign up using just an email address, with support for credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments. This eliminates complex seed phrases and crypto terminology, allowing anyone to interact with onchain assets intuitively.

Rarible has already partnered with major global brands, including Mattel, McFarlane, FOX, Paris Saint-Germain, and Animoca Brands, to power digital products and experiences. The new storefront model expands this capability, enabling any brand to build its own onchain destination.

“As more e-commerce moves onchain, every brand will need its own space to sell, connect, and tell its story without intermediaries,” said Jonas Lamis, CEO of Rarible. “Our storefronts make that possible, and we’re thrilled to have VeeFriends as our first partner.”

Following the debut of the VeeFriends store, Rarible plans to onboard additional brands and intellectual properties in the coming weeks. The company will also roll out Rarible Studio, a dashboard allowing creators and enterprises to manage and customise their stores directly, further shaping the future of onchain commerce.
