The partnership between Superteam and the other parties is expected to have far-reaching benefits that impact institutions and agencies.

Superteam Philippines, the distributed talent layer of the Solana ecosystem in the Philippines, has partnered with the Department of Science and Technology – Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI), and The BLOKC, a provider of education training focused on blockchain and Web3, to propel blockchain technology and Web3 initiatives in the Philippines.

This collaboration seeks to promote science and innovation through training, workshops, and capability building. Plus, It will support advanced research and development in blockchain technology. The partnership aims to enhance technological innovation and create new opportunities in the tech sector.

The BLOKC and Superteam Philippines will organise joint activities such as bootcamps and hackathons, while connecting DOST-ASTI with its partner institutions to provide grants to promising Web3 projects and recommending students for internships with the latter. The partnership will also support DOST-ASTI’s ongoing Data Protect Project, which focuses on using blockchain for privacy protection and the development of SIERRA, a decentralised application (DApp).
