The Omakase Show, an art platform that showcases artists around the globe, will be showcasing the works of Thai artist Kolahon.
Thai digital artist, Kolahon, will be launching his first solo art exhibition in collaboration with the dynamic art platform, The Omakase Show.
Held at the Parlour Singapore, the exhibition “Inner Child” will drive home the theme of his work, which aims to embrace one’s inner fragility and find their place in the world. In addition, the exhibition will also showcase Kolahon’s new works and private collections, along with a two-metre canvas that the artist will be creating live at the gallery for sale on 19 September.
The live artwork will will be sold as part of a limited series of one hundred fractionalised NFTs created by Co-Museum, a cultural collective devoted to expanding the art ecosystem. Each buyer will receive a
physical copy of the final artwork with an accompanying number, and a unique embellish by
the artist.
“For Kolahon’s first solo exhibition, “Inner Child”, we conceptualised a journey for the senses that gives deeper insight into Kolahon’s personal journey and artistic process. At Omakase, we want our artists to grow their craft and communities. We want to be the platform that connects artists and collectors. And as our namesake suggests, we leave the details to theartists.” says Jaye Foo, co-founder of The Omakase Show and The Parlour Singapore.
The gallery will comprise 7 new artworks titled “The Inner Child Collection”, Kolahon pieces
from other collections, and a limited edition toy collectible that will be on display. A musical playlist and a bespoke food menu that combines elements of Kalohon’s childhood and inspirations complement the exhibition to immerse the audience into Kolahon’s process.
Attendees will also have access to an empty room with a finished Kolahon piece where they
can draw across the walls to express their “Inner Child”, in line with the exhibition’s main focus.
