Users can now access tokenised US equities and ETFs within Trust Wallet, powered by Ondo Finance.

Self-custody Web3 wallet Trust Wallet launched tokenised real-world assets (RWAs), enabling seamless access to tokenised versions of U.S. stocks and ETFs.

The new feature, initially available on Ethereum and powered by Ondo Finance, brings tokenised equities like TSLA, AAPL, and QQQ directly into the Trust Wallet app. Users can swap stablecoins such as USDC for tokenised assets through integrated smart contracts, with pricing designed to track the underlying securities transparently.

“Integrating RWAs into self-custodial wallets is an important step in making global finance more open and efficient,” said Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet. “The bigger picture is how blockchain democratises access to financial markets and lays the foundation for a more inclusive future of finance.”

Ondo Finance, one of Trust Wallet’s launch partners, plays a key role in issuing the tokenised assets.

Nathan Allman, Founder and CEO of Ondo Finance, said: “Global investors can now access the largest selection of tokenised U.S. stocks and ETFs on-chain. We saw stablecoins export the U.S. dollar by bringing it on-chain. Now, Ondo Global Markets is doing the same thing for U.S. securities.”

Trust Wallet has also integrated 1inch’s Swap API to streamline interactions with tokenised RWAs, ensuring that the user experience remains straightforward and secure.

“We believe that access to financial tools shouldn’t depend on geography, intermediaries, or complex systems. When you put Wall Street in everyone’s pocket, you change what’s possible—not just for crypto, but for humanity.” added Chen.
