Hitachi Vantara brings VSP One to Microsoft Azure Marketplace, helping enterprises cut storage costs by up to 40%.

Data storage infrastructure Hitachi Vantara announced the availability of its Virtual Storage Platform One Software-Defined Storage in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

The launch gives enterprises the ability to streamline deployment, manage data seamlessly across Azure and on-premises systems, and lower operational costs with built-in provisioning, compression, and replication capabilities.

The integration addresses growing pressure on organisations to modernise infrastructure while reducing complexity and spend.

Octavian Tanase, Chief Product Officer at Hitachi Vantara, said: “Enterprises are under pressure to modernise infrastructure without disrupting what already works. By bringing VSP One to Microsoft Azure, we’re helping Azure customers extend the value of their existing investments while introducing new levels of resiliency, efficiency, and simplicity.”

The addition of Azure support provides customers and partners with greater flexibility in deploying hybrid cloud environments. Azure integration enhances protection, improves operational efficiency, and maximises the value of existing storage investments.

Jake Zborowski, General Manager, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corp., said: “Microsoft Azure Marketplace welcomes Hitachi Vantara’s VSP One, which joins a cloud marketplace landscape offering flexibility and economic value while transacting tens of billions of dollars a year in revenues.”
