VooGlue’s Decentralised Art Gallery ties digital collectibles directly to verified artworks, offering accessibility and artist protection.

Digital artwork platform VooGlue has launched the Decentralised Art Gallery (DAG), an extension of its platform designed to link digital collectibles to authenticated physical artworks. The initiative aims to make high-quality fine art more accessible while ensuring provenance and protecting artists in an evolving digital market.

The DAG builds on VooGlue’s existing global network of more than 6,000 artists and 2,000 public venues across six continents. Its model connects collectors directly to works on display in cafés, hotels, and other non-gallery spaces, creating a transparent chain between the physical piece and its digital counterpart.

Authentication is provided through VooGlue’s patent-protected technology, which generates an invisible ‘fingerprint’ from each artwork, verified via a short reveal. This is paired with a second check through the VooGlue/DAG app, establishing a two-factor system for digital fine art authenticity. Collectibles are offered at low entry points, allowing users to purchase a fraction of an artwork without the high costs typically associated with traditional art markets.

“Most artists struggle to get their art on public display, and most people who are interested in buying art struggle to afford authentic physical fine art,” said Brian Carew-Hopkins, Founder & CEO of VooGlue. “We solve that problem with VooGlue, and will extend the solution to fine art collectibles with DAG.”

The platform also introduces AI-driven sales support to help artists reach buyers and to flag AI-generated imagery, keeping attention on original works. This addresses challenges in the NFT market, where issues of fraud and inauthentic content have undermined trust. By sourcing all collectibles from its verified artist–venue network, DAG seeks to provide buyers with a secure, transparent, and provenance-first way to collect.

Recognised as a finalist in the Incite Innovation Awards for Social Impact, VooGlue’s future plans include the release of a utility token for platform access later in 2025 and potential development of regulated fractional ownership models for physical art through tokenisation.
