The signing of the Strategic Alliance will see both AlphaTON Capital and GAMEE expand Web3 accessibility on Telegram.
Public technology company AlphaTON Capital has entered into an agreement to acquire a 60% controlling interest in GAMEE. At the same time, AlphaTON and Animoca Brands have formalised a Strategic Alliance to pursue broader commercial opportunities across blockchain and social gaming.
The acquisition will provide AlphaTON with immediate, scaled user engagement across Telegram’s estimated one billion users. Under the terms of the agreement, AlphaTON Capital will assume day-to-day management of GAMEE for a total consideration of up to $11 million, structured to include a performance-linked earn-out over two years.
The Strategic Alliance also combines AlphaTON’s position with Animoca Brands’ Web3 portfolio and institutional relationships, creating a shared commitment to advancing digital property rights and broadening Web3 accessibility through the Telegram platform.
