B2C2 has appointed Jason Lai to deepen its push into Asia-Pacific family offices and asset managers.
Institutional digital asset liquidity provider B2C2 has appointed Jason Lai, former Chairman of Schroders Wealth Management, Asia, as a Senior Advisor in Singapore to deepen its footprint with funds, asset managers, and family offices across Asia-Pacific.
Lai founded Thirdrock Group in 2009, an independent wealth and asset manager acquired by Schroders in 2019, before serving as CEO and later Chairman of its Asian Wealth Management unit until his retirement in 2026.
Lai’s appointment follows B2C2’s recent regional growth under APAC CEO David Rogers, including the hire of Singapore Country Head Laura Teo.
“Asia’s wealthiest families and managers are increasingly investing in digital assets. B2C2 has the liquidity and execution infrastructure this client base needs. I’m looking forward to helping the firm build the trusted bridge between institutional wealth and digital markets in this region,” said Lai.
David Rogers, CEO of B2C2 APAC, added: “Jason is one of the most respected names in wealth management in Asia, with an impressive track record building relationships with asset managers and family offices. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
