NextBlock will use its NextRoute engine to access B2C2’s global liquidity as South Korea gradually opens its digital asset market to institutions.
B2C2 has entered a strategic collaboration with South Korean digital asset infrastructure firm NextBlock to expand institutional access to global liquidity in the country’s digital asset market.
NextBlock will use its proprietary NextRoute routing engine to access B2C2’s liquidity as part of its institutional offering in South Korea. NextBlock operates as an execution and liquidity bridge between global market makers and local digital asset markets.
The company provides services including smart order routing and block trade execution, helping broaden B2C2’s connectivity with South Korea’s institutional digital asset ecosystem.
The move comes as South Korea prepares for greater institutional participation in digital assets. South Korean regulators have also been moving towards greater corporate participation, after the Financial Services Commission’s Virtual Asset Committee discussed regulatory changes in late 2024.
Kane Yang, Chairman at Kane Company Inc and operator of NextBlock, said “By connecting NextBlock to B2C2’s global liquidity, we are building the infrastructure needed to support South Korea’s next phase of digital asset participation.”
David Rogers, APAC CEO at B2C2, added: “Working with NextBlock is a strategic move. It allows B2C2 to provide our global liquidity to an established local market participant as institutional demand develops — an important milestone as we continue to grow across APAC.”
