Bitazza Thailand completed its Travel Rule infrastructure with Sumsub ahead of the SEC’s implementation deadline in the country.

Digital asset broker Bitazza Thailand has completed development of its Travel Rule infrastructure ahead of the regulator’s official enforcement timeline with Sumsub.

Bitazza has worked with Sumsub since 2025 to strengthen customer verification, AML, and risk management, and has now expanded that collaboration to include Sumsub’s Travel Rule solution, backed by a directory of more than 2,100 virtual asset service providers, to enable secure information exchange ahead of the SEC’s deadline.

The move follows broader efforts by Bitazza to work with regulators including the SEC, the Bank of Thailand, and the Anti-Money Laundering Office to strengthen transaction monitoring and customer protection.

Tanawat Sutuntivorakoon, Chief Executive Officer of Bitazza Thailand, said: “We have proactively invested in upgrading our compliance infrastructure ahead of the official implementation to ensure our customers continue to receive services that meet international standards.”

Penny Chai, Vice President, APAC at Sumsub, added: “Through our partnership with Bitazza Thailand, we’re combining secure cross-border data exchange with the identity verification and risk management capabilities regulated businesses need to scale confidently.”
