The Keep A Breast Foundation has partnered with the crypto community Boobillions to generate nearly $100,000 for breast cancer prevention. The Solana-based initiative automatically channels a portion of digital token transaction activity directly into real-world charitable funding.
This initiative demonstrates a shift in modern philanthropic models by moving away from traditional grant dependencies toward automated community participation. It establishes a framework for utilising web-native assets to secure sustainable, long-term revenue for global causes.
The mechanism addresses the historical reliance of non-profit organisations on erratic, resource-heavy crowdfunding campaigns and physical donation drives. By automating contributions via token transactions, the system mitigates funding instability and engages new donor demographics.
Generated funds support breast cancer education and the development of The Keep A Breast Valley, a specialised wellness retreat in California.
The organisations are also launching collaborative merchandise, including a reimagined, limited-edition version of the viral “i love boobies!” awareness bracelets.
Shaney jo Darden, Founder and Global Creative Officer at The Keep A Breast Foundation: “Seeing a community come together around a shared purpose and turn that into something meaningful, that’s exactly what Keep A Breast has always been about.”
Alon Cohen, Co-Founder at Pump.fun: “The Boobillions community raising more than $100,000 for the Keep A Breast Foundation demonstrates what can happen when online communities rally around a cause and turn participation into lasting impact.”
