Chainalysis introduces blockchain intelligence agents designed to combine proprietary data, domain expertise, and automation across organisations.
Chainalysis has introduced blockchain intelligence agents, describing them as the next chapter of its platform rather than a standalone product or chatbot feature.
Announced at the company’s annual Links conference, the agents are designed to work alongside teams by combining Chainalysis’s blockchain data, institutional knowledge, and automation. The launch builds on the platform’s existing foundation, including billions of screened transactions, more than ten million investigations, and over a decade of blockchain intelligence experience.
The agents are intended to make blockchain intelligence more accessible across organisations, extending its use beyond specialist investigators and compliance analysts to executives and other teams. They place the full depth of the platform, including its data, products, and expertise, into the hands of more users across an organisation.
The system is underpinned by a harness which provides investigative context, compliance understanding, and knowledge of blockchain transaction behaviour, workflows, audit trails, and evidentiary standards. This allows the agents to reason more like experienced analysts rather than operate as general-purpose language models.
The agents have been built around four principles: data quality, context and reasoning, auditable results with deterministic workflows, and human control. These principles are intended to support use in regulated and high-stakes environments, where predictable outcomes, clear audit trails, and controlled levels of automation are required.
Early use cases include complex investigation workflows across multiple chains and entities, alert enrichment for compliance teams, on-demand summary reports, custom web applications and dashboards, time-based transaction identification, and open-source intelligence collection.
Chainalysis will begin rolling out blockchain intelligence agents over the summer.
