Check Point is testing OpenAI’s cyber models across exposure validation, security management and threat investigation.
Check Point Software Technologies is incorporating OpenAI’s frontier cyber models into parts of its security platform through the Daybreak Defense Network, with applications spanning exposure management, security operations and vulnerability research.
The companies began expanding their collaboration around three months ago through Daybreak, OpenAI’s cyber defence initiative, and the latest work is focused on applying OpenAI’s models within existing security products and workflows to help identify exploitable risks.
The models are also being incorporated into Keystone, Check Point’s agentic security management platform. The company said the technology is being used to investigate potential attack paths, understand vulnerabilities and risky exposures, and identify appropriate remediation actions.
Within Check Point’s Autonomous Workspace Platform, OpenAI’s cyber reasoning is being applied to investigate complex threats across areas including malware behaviour, attacker techniques and credential abuse.
OpenAI models are also being used in NexPloit, Check Point’s vulnerability research platform. The company said the models can help researchers understand vulnerable code and patches, identify realistic exploitation paths and reach verified results more quickly, without relying on publicly available exploit code.
