Cobo marks nine years in digital asset infrastructure with a growing focus on secure, autonomous on-chain operations for AI agents.
Digital asset infrastructure provider Cobo is marking its ninth anniversary with “9 Stories”, a series of short films featuring founders, clients, partners and team members sharing their experiences with the company.
Founded in 2017 by blockchain pioneers Discus Fish and Dr Changhao Jiang, Cobo has served more than 680 clients across nearly 50 countries and regions through its Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) and multi-chain solutions.
“What I hope never changes is our commitment to prioritising long-term value over short-term trends, and making decisions about what to build based on what creates real value for our users,” said Dr Changhao Jiang, Co-founder & CTO.
The company says its focus on operational efficiency and risk management continues to shape its approach as organisations increasingly use digital assets for more complex operations. The development of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is also creating demand for secure ways for AI agents to hold assets.
In response, Cobo launched its Cobo Agentic Wallet (CAW) earlier in 2026. It is non-custodial by default and secured by multi-party computation (MPC), with infrastructure designed specifically for AI agents. This approach is intended to support automated digital asset activity while keeping operations subject to predefined controls.
