CRX Trade’s platform lets institutions use a shared pool of bitcoin, stablecoins, or tokenised gold as collateral.
Swiss digital asset prime broker CRX Trade has launched a platform that allows hedge funds and trading firms to access crypto exchanges and traditional US markets through a single account.
Powered by CoinRoutes technology, the platform connects clients to multiple trading venues and allows bitcoin, stablecoins, or tokenised gold to be used as a shared pool of collateral across them.
The platform allows users to trade across ten connected venues, including Binance, Bybit, and Hyperliquid, and also allows institutions to manage positions across crypto and traditional markets without maintaining separate collateral.
Eamon Comerford, Managing Director of RAS Capital GmbH and Operator of CRX Trade, said: “Professional investors increasingly see digital assets and traditional securities as one opportunity set, but the infrastructure has not kept pace. CRX Trade closes that gap by giving institutions broader market access, coordinated collateral and a single framework through which to manage their positions.”
The brokerage platform aims to address the fragmented infrastructure faced by institutions trading across digital and traditional markets, where firms may otherwise need separate providers for trading, custody, collateral, and risk reporting.
