Disney Pinnacle introduces a Star Wars event from 4–11 May, featuring mystery capsules, digital trading, and a unique Genesis Edition pin.
Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs has announced “The Event Featuring Star Wars”, a seven-day limited digital event scheduled to run from 4 May to 11 May 2026. The programme allows collectors to acquire and trade digital pins through mystery capsules and a dedicated exchange platform.
The event introduces four edition types, marking the highest number of variants for a single Disney Pinnacle drop to date. These include Open Edition digital pins across 12 shapes and four variants, a serialised Limited Edition Droid Set, and exclusive Limited Event Edition pins available only during the event window. The primary feature of the drop is the Genesis Edition, a one-of-a-kind digital pin embedded within the capsule pool.
Alongside the capsule sale, the Galactic Exchange will operate as a live trading environment. This platform enables users to trade with other fans, reach specific milestones, and earn Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pins. A live leaderboard will track trading rankings throughout the seven-day period.
Capsule sales and trading are scheduled to open on 4 May, 9.00 am PDT (5 May, 00.00 am SGT). Every collector who opens a capsule during the event window will receive a bonus Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pin. The event coincides with annual celebrations of the franchise, utilising digital collectible infrastructure to facilitate grassroots participation in a virtual environment.
