Kalshi’s election markets join DoubleZero Edge ahead of the US midterms, giving firms access to order book data.
DoubleZero has added Kalshi’s Elections and Politics markets to its Edge market data platform, bringing real-time order book data for prediction markets.
The expansion comes ahead of the US midterm elections on November 3 as trading activity around political prediction markets continues to grow. More than US$133 million had been traded on the US’s House and Senate races across major platforms by mid-August, exceeding the total recorded during the 2024 congressional cycle.
DoubleZero Edge currently provides market data over the company’s dedicated fibre network. The newly added election feed includes Level 1 data covering the top of book and trades, as well as Level 2 aggregated depth-of-book data.
The addition of election markets extends Kalshi’s existing presence on Edge, which already supports its sports event contracts and crypto perpetual futures. Firms already using Edge can access the new markets through the same connection and workflow.
Andy Ross, Head of Institutional at Kalshi, said: “By making Kalshi’s political market data easier to integrate into institutional workflows, DoubleZero Edge gives firms a valuable new tool to price risk, manage exposure and adjust positions as market expectations change.”
Austin Federa, Co-Founder of DoubleZero, added: “Traditional markets figured out a long time ago that if the data is late, the trade is dead. Prediction markets are starting to matter the same way, especially around elections.”
