RegSensus is formed from the merger of both companies and aims to help firms identify risk swiftly.
Regulatory technology platform FundApps and cloud-based compliance platform SteelEye have merged to launch RegSensus, a new firm that focuses on regulatory intelligence.
The new firm will tap into both parties’ regulatory monitoring and communications surveillance expertise to create a regulatory-compliant framework for companies to use. The platform is developed by FundApps for regulatory monitoring, and now extends to trade and communications surveillance following the merger.
The business will also focus on helping firms use AI to overcome blind spots and make strategic decisions while automating routine functions.
Frederic Ceyte, CEO of RegSensus, said: “RegSensus brings much needed standardisation so that the financial industry can stop sinking time into risky, isolated interpretations of global regulations.”
The merger between FundApps and SteelEye was completed in September 2026, supported by FTV Capital.
Richard Earnshaw, partner at FTV Capital, said: “Its standard is already proven in regulatory monitoring and now extending into surveillance. We’ll keep backing the team’s investment in agentic AI.”
