Vaults built on IPOR Labs’ Fusion infrastructure now hold 52% of Coinbase’s liquid staked ETH token, cbETH, circulating on Base.
The vaults are operated by independent teams, including TAU Labs and Clearstar, and deploy cbETH across Base’s decentralised finance (DeFi) lending markets, primarily Aave, alongside Morpho and Euler.
Vaults built on Fusion account for approximately 74% of the cbETH held in Aave’s Base market. When supplied as collateral, cbETH supports ETH borrowing, generating interest for lenders and increasing activity across the network’s lending markets.
TAU Labs operates the largest cbETH vault on Base, while Tesseract brings client capital on-chain through Fusion-built vaults, including a cbETH strategy. The participation of a MiCA-authorised provider illustrates how regulated capital can access on-chain yield strategies through the same infrastructure used by independent operators.
Darren Camas, Co-Founder and CEO of IPOR Labs, said: “Holding over half of the cbETH on Base is an important milestone, and real proof that vaults built on Fusion are reliable building blocks for the network.”
