Hex Trust has been ratified as a Super Validator on the Canton Network, providing infrastructure for atomic transactions.
Hex Trust has been added as a Super Validator on the Canton Network, a move the firm said supports its mission to connect global financial institutions to the digital asset ecosystem.
The ratification elevates Hex Trust into the network’s primary governance body, positioning the firm as a contributor to the network’s future direction. Canton Network is described as attracting major players, including Goldman Sachs, Citadel Securities, and BNP Paribas.
The release describes Canton as a public blockchain with configurable privacy built for regulated finance, enabling institutions to transact with tokenised assets while controlling data visibility. It also claims Canton secures more than US$6 trillion in tokenised real-world assets (RWAs) and processes hundreds of billions in daily transactions.
As a Super Validator, Hex Trust said it will contribute infrastructure to the “Global Synchroniser”, described as the technology enabling private, atomic transactions between different blockchains. The role also includes governance participation via the Canton Foundation, including major network changes such as economic adjustments and protocol upgrades, as well as rules enabling institutions to synchronise data and assets securely without compromising privacy.
Hex Trust also said it will provide infrastructure supporting network integrity, security, and operational reliability for the Canton ecosystem.
