Hitachi Vantara makes the VSP One Block High-End and VSP One Object solutions available for enterprise AI.

Data storage infrastructure Hitachi Vantara announced it has made two of its solutions, the Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) Block High End and VSP One Object, available in Singapore.

Currently, findings from the Hitachi Vantara State of Data Infrastructure 2025 Report show that 96% of Singapore respondents are using AI, and the expanded portfolio aims to support enterprises scaling artificial intelligence (AI) for business and data environments.

VSP One Block High End is targeted at large-scale enterprise environments with high demands, while VSP One Object unifies structured and unstructured data, enabling SQL queries directly on object storage to accelerate AI training.

Joe Ong, Vice President and General Manager for ASEAN, Hitachi Vantara, said: “As AI becomes more embedded across the business, we’re seeing renewed focus on how modern AI initiatives can be introduced alongside long-standing, mission-critical environments, including core systems and mainframe platforms.”

“Enterprises are reaching a point where storage performance alone is no longer enough,” said Martin Skagen, General Manager, Brocade Storage Networking, Broadcom. “With AI workloads scaling, infrastructure must deliver predictable performance, low latency, and strong resilience across the data environment.”
