CES 2026 opened in Las Vegas on 7 January, showcasing AI, mobility, health, and more.

CES 2026 opened in Las Vegas on 7 January, bringing together technology companies, industry and government leaders, investors, and media across more than 2.6 million square feet.

Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the event runs through Friday, 9 January across 13 venues, including the newly renovated Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), which is being used for the first time following a US$600 million renovation of the legacy campus. CTA said CES 2026 features more than 4,100 exhibitors showcasing innovations including AI, digital health, and quantum.

Gary Shapiro, Executive Chair and CEO, CTA, said: “CES is where innovators show up, business accelerates, partnerships ignite, and technology transforms real-world challenges into bold opportunities. We’re thrilled to see global innovators show up and unveil the breakthroughs that will shape the future.”

Kinsey Fabrizio, President, CTA, said: “From global brands to trailblazing startups, the entire tech ecosystem comes together at CES. CES is where innovation moves from idea to impact.”

CTA also shared its U.S. Consumer Technology Industry Forecast, projecting 2026 revenue of US$565 billion, up 3.7% year on year, and noted that CES 2026 includes more than 400 conference sessions and over 1,300 speakers.
