IPX raised US$4 million to develop an intellectual property platform connecting creators, fans, and on-chain revenue.
IPX, a creator economy platform, closed a US$4 million seed funding round at a valuation of US$125 million, with Bitsurge Holdings leading the round alongside YICIPX Holdings Family Office and a group of strategic investors.
The company is building an intellectual property (IP) economy that connects creators with fans through an agentic operating system, a tokenised launchpad and an exchange built on Base. Its native IPX token powers the operating system and exchange.
Brendan McCafferty, founder and CEO of IPX, said: “We’re building a new covenant for IP: creators keep ownership, fans unlock funding and earn a share in the upside. IPX is the operating system that makes it happen with seamless traditional finance to tokenisation rails, enabling transparency and fueling rewards all without taking ownership from the people who create it.”
To connect project revenue with on-chain participation, IPX combines traditional financial infrastructure with blockchain-based systems. Its banking capabilities include large-scale on- and off-ramps through globally available, non-custodial virtual checking accounts.
The company’s model aims to connect creative projects and their audiences with the infrastructure needed to fund, distribute, and generate revenue from intellectual property.
