Keeper’s Google Chat integration lets users request and approve privileged access without leaving the platform.
Keeper Security has launched an integration with Google Chat that allows teams to request and approve privileged access, retrieve credentials, and manage secrets without leaving the collaboration platform.
The Google Chat App connects with Keeper’s identity security and privileged access management tools, allowing administrators to manage access requests within Google Workspace environments.
Users can submit vault access requests with justifications and custom permission levels, retrieve secrets, and approve just-in-time privilege elevation requests. The integration also supports workflows such as vault record access requests.
Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, said: “Using this integration means your infrastructure stays isolated because the chat app is just the interface. The encryption and verification happen entirely in your environment, so credentials never exist in transit, whether to Google’s infrastructure or ours.”
The integration is available immediately to Keeper customers with active Keeper Secrets Manager or KeeperPAM licences.
