The Keeper Teams App embeds governed, auditable privileged access workflows directly into Microsoft Teams.

Identity security solutions provider Keeper Security launched its Keeper Teams App integration to bring secure privileged access request and approval workflows directly into Microsoft Teams.

The integration provides enterprise IT and security personnel with a robust, centralised mechanism to manage critical administrative credential permissions within their primary digital collaboration environment.

It directly solves the visibility gaps and security risks caused when corporate personnel submit elevated access requests through fragmented, unmonitored channels like internal email strings and standard IT support tickets.

The system natively supports five core automated operations, including record and folder access requests, one-time secret sharing, endpoint privilege elevations, cloud device approvals, and self-service secret creation.

The customer-hosted integration deploys efficiently on internal infrastructure via Docker to preserve end-to-end encryption and maintain strict adherence to zero-knowledge security compliance.

Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder at Keeper Security, said: “By embedding approval workflows directly into Teams, we removed the friction that drives those workarounds, so the secure path and the fast path are one in the same.”
