LexisNexis has launched KYA intelligence to help organisations identify AI agents and assess their activity within existing risk management systems.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions has launched Know Your Agent (KYA) intelligence, a new capability designed to help organisations identify when artificial intelligence (AI) agents interact with their digital services and assess those interactions as part of their existing risk management processes.
The launch comes as automated activity across digital platforms grows. According to LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ analysis of global digital transactions, traffic generated by AI agents increased by more than 750% in the first half of 2026 alone.
As AI agents increasingly interact with online services, organisations need to distinguish between activity initiated by humans and actions performed by automated agents. However, identifying an agent alone may not provide enough information to assess the risk of an interaction.
KYA intelligence addresses this by placing agent detection within a broader view of the identities associated with digital activity. This connected intelligence approach allows organisations to incorporate agent-related information into existing risk assessments in real time.
Organisations can then use the additional information to determine whether an interaction should be allowed, authenticated, reviewed or rejected. This allows businesses to account for AI-driven activity within their existing decision-making workflows rather than treating agent interactions as a separate category.
Mike Woodberry, Senior Vice President of Product and Analytics at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, said: “Our vision for KYA is to extend established risk intelligence into the agentic economy, helping give organisations the flexibility to apply the appropriate response to each interaction rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all risk assessment.”
