Emailage Adaptive uses organisation-specific transaction data to refine fraud risk scores, with testing showing fewer false positives.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions has launched Emailage Adaptive, an AI-powered fraud detection solution that continuously adjusts its risk models based on an organisation’s transaction data and fraud patterns.

According to the company, the solution analyses signals including email addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses to generate risk scores. It identified around 90% of fraud among the highest-risk transactions while reducing false positives by more than 80%.

Additionally, Emailage Adaptive automatically recalibrates its fraud prevention models by analysing organisation-specific transaction data and emerging fraud patterns. The solution can be used across several high-risk processes, including account opening, account management and payments.

Kimberly Sutherland, Global Head of Fraud and Identity at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, said: “By continuously learning from fraud outcomes, backed by cross-industry risk intelligence, a self-calibrating fraud model can adjust instantly to subtle changes in fraud patterns, removing the lag between when patterns emerge and when defences calibrate.”
