LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Promon form an alliance to enhance mobile fraud prevention through combined intelligence.

Information-based analytics provider LexisNexis Risk Solutions and mobile application protection firm Promon formed a strategic alliance to strengthen global mobile fraud prevention. The partnership integrates digital identity and behavioural intelligence with in-app security systems and trusted telemetry.

This global collaboration helps cross-industry enterprises secure their software from tampering whilst improving the real-time data signals used to detect criminal manipulation. By integrating these systems, companies can protect customer interactions across digital banking, insurance, and healthcare frameworks. The joint initiative addresses the growing threat of modern attackers targeting vulnerabilities directly within the runtime environment of mobile applications.

It stops fraudsters from using sophisticated malware, overlay manipulation, device tampering, and reverse engineering to bypass security controls. The combined platform merges specialised application shields with advanced identity analysis to minimise visibility gaps for security operations teams.

Furthermore, a centralised decision system orchestrates these combined capabilities to verify user identity and session safety simultaneously.

Daniel Kollberg, Chief Executive Officer at Promon, said: “As fraud increasingly targets the mobile app and device environment, organisations need clearer insight into whether each session can be trusted.”

Grayson Clarke, chief commercial officer at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, said: “Promon’s app protection capabilities complement the insights delivered through our LexisNexis® Risk Intelligence Network, helping customers strengthen the signals they rely on to better detect fraud across the mobile environment.”
