LO:TECH raised US$12 million to expand its institutional trading and execution services across the US and APAC.

London-based capital markets firm LO:TECH has raised US$12 million in a Series A funding round led by MMC, with participation from existing investors Faction and 13 Books Capital.

The new funding will support LO:TECH’s expansion into the US and Asia-Pacific, including plans to establish a presence in New York and Singapore. The company also intends to pursue regulatory approval in the markets it enters and is exploring licensing opportunities in the US.

LO:TECH aims to connect traditional and digital financial markets by providing liquidity and trade execution across digital assets and tokenised traditional assets. The company has also launched execution services designed to help institutional clients trade across traditional financial markets, digital assets and prediction markets.

Tim Meggs, CEO and Co-Founder of LO:TECH, said: “Our 24/7 infrastructure and our team’s background in traditional markets put us at the intersection of the two. That leaves us well placed to help that shift happen.”

The expansion reflects the firm’s focus on supporting markets that operate beyond traditional financial hours, as digital assets and other emerging markets increasingly require continuous access to liquidity and execution services.
