Maple expands its institutional yield product, syrupUSDT, to Ink network, reaching an estimated 10 million users via the integration.
On-chain asset manager Maple has announced its integration with Ink network to expand access to Maple’s dollar-yield product, syrupUSDT, across the latter’s native decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
The integration establishes a bridge between institutional asset managers and decentralised applications, bringing Maple’s on-chain capabilities into traditional finance. Ink, an Ethereum Layer-2 solution, aims to provide users within its ecosystem with access to sophisticated financial strategies with this deployment.
Sid Powell, CEO and Co-Founder of Maple, said: “By bringing syrupUSDT to Ink, we are ensuring that the next wave of users have access to the most transparent and scalable yield sources available.”
Regan O’Malley, Developer Relations Lead at the Ink Foundation, said: “Bringing Maple’s syrupUSDT to the Ink network expands the range of yield opportunities available across our ecosystem. Together, we are showing that crypto can be easier to use and offer a better product experience than what is available through traditional venues.”
syrupUSDT will be available on Ink-native applications such as the lending and borrowing protocol Tydro.
