OneDegree Global will be using its automated testing platform to assess AI risk within the HKMA Gen AI sandbox.
OneDegree Global will be providing AI risk assessments to help companies navigate the complexities of Generative AI risks in the newly launched Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) Sandbox.
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) recently announced the launch of the new Gen AI sandbox in collaboration with the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport). Through interactive engagement with the industry, HKMA will draw insights from the sandbox and share good AI practices, while keeping its guidance relevant.
In tandem with the launch, OneDegree Global will be supporting the Gen AI sandbox with its range of AI Red Team solutions at Cymetrics, which is a security assessment group of OneDegree that identifies critical vulnerabilities and risks and ensure compliance in security, privacy, and bias.
Alex Leung, co-founder of OneDegree Global, says, “The digital domain is facing an unprecedented escalation of cyber threats, with emerging AI technologies presenting both immense potential and novel challenges. Alongside the exciting use cases around Generative AI including Large Language Model (“LLM”) applications bring new types of vulnerabilities and uncertainties to businesses who are eager to become early adopters.”
“By providing scalable AI risk assessments through our automated testing platform, Cymetrics Vulcan, we help financial institutions navigate the complexities of Generative AI risks, enhancing risk management and reinforcing security measures that are essential in this new environment.” Leung added.
The company is pushing its novel solutions with the recent AI zeitgeist in the tech industry, while partnering major players such as Taishin Bank to realise the responsible use of the technology.
