Indonesian wealthtech platform Pluang expands its ecosystem with local stocks following a US$10 million funding round.
Indonesian digital investment platform Pluang announced the launch of local equities after completing a US$10 million funding round led by MUFG Innovation Partners (MUIP).
The addition of Indonesian equities complements Pluang’s existing multi-asset offerings which includes Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), crypto futures, and stock options. The platform achieved profitability in 2025 while expanding its regional presence into the Philippines.
Claudia Kolonas, co-founder of Pluang, said:”Our introduction of local equities is designed to make investing accessible to novice investors, providing them with a complete set of tools that were previously out of reach for the general public.”
The expansion occurs amidst substantial growth in the domestic market. The number of Indonesian crypto participants rose to 19 million between 2020 and 2025.
