PSB Academy has partnered with ACCESS and the Ethereum Foundation to equip graduates with extensive blockchain knowledge.
PSB Academy has launched the first-of-its-kind Diploma in Blockchain with a NFT certification by the non-profit Ethereum Foundation organisation.
The course will be available for registration from July 2021, and is jointly developed by the Academy along with ACCESS, a local non-profit organisation for cryptocurrency and blockchain in Singapore, and Skilltree, an educational ecosystem that has worked with notable blockchain leaders.
Students who sign up the diploma can expect to gain an in-depth understanding of blockchain & decentralised technology, and identify challenges and solutions to existing blockchain matters. Upon graduation, they are capable of utilising the Solidity coding framework to build decentralised applications on Ethereum, and be able to integrate their understanding of blockchain into real-life business usage.
The Chairman of ACCESS, Anson Zeall, notes that “Singapore’s position as one of the largest financial hubs and technology leaders in Asia allows it to be one of the key markets in the utilisation of blockchain technology, and the development of talents in the industry. This partnership with PSB Academy is a key milestone in Singapore’s education landscape, proving that blockchain technology will be a mainstay in Singapore’s data journey”.
To facilitate the curriculum development, Skilltree will be planning the programme on their platform for PSB Academy educators to deliver to their students. Other than receiving a NFT certificate from the Ethereum Foundation upon completion, graduates will also be provided with industry expertise and career opportunities from ACCESS.
