RedotPay integrates Ripple Payments to target faster, lower-cost remittances for local users.

RedotPay, a global stablecoin-based payment fintech, has partnered with Ripple to expand its
cross-border payment capabilities via Ripple Payments.

As part of the integration, RedotPay has launched a new “Send Crypto, Receive NGN” feature designed to streamline conversions from digital assets to Nigerian naira for verified users with local bank accounts.

The service leverages Ripple’s enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure to deliver near-instant, cost-efficient payouts. Users are able to send supported crypto assets, such as XRP or major stablecoins, and receive NGN within minutes into designated local bank accounts.

“Delivering near-instant, cost-effective NGN payouts is a significant milestone,” said Michael Gao, CEO and Co-Founder of RedotPay. “RedotPay is building stablecoin-powered payments that make digital assets as easy to use as local currency, where users can send XRP or stablecoins securely and receive NGN within minutes.”

RedotPay positions the service as a response to longstanding pain points in global remittances, where average fees remain around 6.49% and settlement times can take up to five business days. The company aims to offer a lower-cost, faster alternative to traditional corridors.

Jack Cullinane, Head of Commercial, Asia Pacific at Ripple, said: “Our partnership with RedotPay demonstrates the real-world utility of our licensed payments solution in solving the immense friction of global cross-border payments.”

The feature is available to RedotPay users who complete verification and link a local bank account, with payouts typically settled in minutes.
