Revolut now supports customers in making instant and secure transactions directly from their bank account via the Revolut app.

Revolut, the global finance super app, released a feature that allow Singapore customers to link and top-up their accounts directly from up to six different bank accounts within the Revolut app.

The function is enabled by electronic General Interbank Recurring Order (e-Giro) which authorises top-ups from the user’s bank account to the Revolut app. The six new bank additions include the Bank of China, DBS,, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB Bank. Revolut’s current services include overseas remittance, foreign exchange, fractional stock trading, commodities, and crypto trading.

Raymond Ng, CEO of Revolut in Singapore, said: “As one of Singapore’s leading digital wallets, we are delighted to be adding 6 additional bank accounts to Revolut users via the use of e-Giro technology. This next evolution will provide people with additional payment options that are seamless, instant and secure.”
