ShelterZoom has launched its Spare Tire platform suite, combining products across continuity, protection, and AI to support operational resilience.
ShelterZoom announced the launch of its Spare Tire platform suite, which it describes as the first offering in a new “zero-downtime continuity” category focused on cyber and operational resilience.
The company said the platform builds on its existing healthcare EHR downtime resilience offering, expanding it into a broader continuity solution for organisations facing system outages, cyberattacks, and other operational disruptions.
Spare Tire combines the company’s Core Continuity Suite, Protection Suite, and AI Suite, and is designed to maintain continuity during downtime, allowing users to continue working in real time with synchronised and validated data.
“ShelterZoom’s Spare Tire platform provides healthcare organisations with a comprehensive approach for zero-downtime, as well as cyber and operational resilience that can significantly reduce downtime,” said Hector Rodriguez, Principal Industry Specialist and Security Leader, Healthcare and Life Sciences at Amazon Web Services.
“While 74% of traditional DR/backup systems fail post-recovery due to contaminated data, those systems rely on replica-based database backups that simply copy the problem,” said ShelterZoom CEO Chao-Cheng Shorland.
