The second edition of CapitaVerse brings visitors back into a virtual world of fashion, art and entertainment.
If a trip to your local shopping mall seems like a mundane experience, it’s time to enhance your experience by taking your shopping experience to the digital metaverse instead. That is what leading real estate corporation CapitaLand is planning with its latest upcoming event in the metaverse, the CapitaVerse.
Happening from 5 April, 7pm to 6 April, 5pm, the digital experience will be taking place in the popular Web3 metaverse Decentraland, and the event will be replete with live performances, interactive art, fashion showcases, and attractive limited digital collectibles that can be added to one’s in-world avatars.
Attendees can also pick up digital passes that will grant them discounts and redemptions at different participating brand outlets within Capitaland malls across Singapore. Users can expect to see famous musicians on the digital stage built as part of the conceptualisation efforts by Bandwagon Labs, along with other activities that leverage innovative technology to enhance the journey.
Participants that enter the CapitaVerse in Decentraland will find themselves starting their metaverse journey on the CapitaVerse rocket before arriving at the Skybase, which is a spectacular UFO-shaped venue. The Skybase will harbour important event spaces such as the Live Performance stage where users can enjoy local shows and acts, and they can claim their CapitaVerse NFT Attendance Pass which gives them discounts in real, physical brand outlets.

Getting To The CapitaVerse event
If you are not sure how to access the Decentraland metaverse to enjoy the event, here’s a quick step-by-step guide to get started. We recommend creating your avatar a few days before the event.
- Go to the Decentraland website, then click ‘START EXPLORING’ on the top right corner
- You can either choose to download the desktop client, or use the web browser. Do note that the experience between the two may be different
- Link your non-custodial wallet to register your account.
- Next, create your own Decentraland avatar.
- On April 5, 7pm, visit the CapitaVerse here while logging into Decentraland at the same time to arrive directly at the CapitaVerse.
Live Performance Stage
Content producer and musician Annette Lee will be entertaining the virtual crowd with a musical performance and a comedy skit featuring two of her online personas, Chantelle and Aunty Susan.
A number of DJs from the popular club Zouk will be playing on 5 April with a lineup of DJ Ghetto, DJ Che’Molly, DJ Hong, and DJ Jeremy Boon
Virtual Hunts
- Attendees will stand a chance to collect 5 brand badges peppered throughout the event site within each virtual hunt session. Different badges will be available for collection depending on the prize.
- After collecting all of the badges, participants will receive a pop-up message congratulating participants on completing the hunt.
- Winners will be chosen randomly for each virtual hunt, and participants can continue taking part in subsequent virtual hunts to win prizes

NFT Attendance Booth
Participants can head to the NFT Attendance Booth on the first level of the virtual event venue to collect their personal NFT Attendance Pass. The pass not only allows them access to the event, but they can show the pass at physical outlets to gain discounts.

Over 3,000 limited edition Up In The Clouds aura wearable digital collectables are available for participants to collect on a first-come-first-serve basis. Those who hold a 1st generation NFT Attendance Pass Holders from the last CapitaVerse event can also redeem a complimentary Glide Through the Clouds Emote NFT.
Browse Exhibitions And Join Contests
Other than activities and performances, you can also browse digital interactive galleries by your favourite brands throughout the metaverse space too. Explore and enjoy brand experiences by the National Gallery Singapore, Mastercard, Zouk, Charles & Keith, FILA, and Urban Revivo.
