The expansion aims to raise the capability of the Conroe facility to 23.31 terahash via hardware improvements.

The team behind TEXITcoin (TXC), a Texas-based Layer-1 cryptocurrency, has announced a US$5.5 million investment to expand its mining network across its McKinney, Mansfield, and Conroe facilities in Texas.

The expansion will be used to improve the facilities’ physical infrastructure, including power systems, shipping containers, mining hardware, and cooling. The move will also push the team’s Conroe facility to a 23.31 terahash target to fulfil previously purchased mining packages.

Bobby Gray, founder of TEXITcoin, said: “Every machine we bring online in McKinney, Mansfield, and Conroe is real infrastructure doing real work, backing the network with something you can actually measure. This is community-funded infrastructure, built by the people who believe in it.”
